Each pillar stands on its own and feeds the others; a story can lead to support, support can lead to a referral, and a referral can lead to a new skill and a new start.

It started here. On our YouTube channel, women come forward to tell their stories; what happened to them, what their journey to learning and healing has looked like, and where they currently stand with their physical and emotional health. Afterwards, an expert joins to advise and encourage.

VBH works to prevent gender-based violence before it happens, and to respond with care when it does. We combine regular sensitisation in schools and communities with a structured referral pathway into professional support.

An empowered woman strengthens her household, her community, and her country. VBH runs two complementary tracks; practical vocational skills for women, and technology skills for girls, both designed to provide sustainable livelihoods.
Interested young women receive technology training, expert-led instruction, and ongoing mentorship reaching girls in both rural and urban communities across Nigeria.
Every storyteller decides her own level of visibility.
Training is matched to community needs and open to all women.
Programmes designed for all regions, North and South, rural and urban.
We track both qualitative stories and quantitative outcomes.
Much of the national conversation on GBV has historically focused on the North East. Our programmes are designed for women and girls in every geopolitical zone because equality of access is one of our founding values.
